Latest Results!
Lastest Score:
Thunderveluboomqiesi 3 Swee Swee 1 FC 2
AJPL FC 0 Star CF 3
With these results, we are currently top of the pack but we are also only the team that have played the most game. That being said, we have already done our best to win as many games as we can. 1 Thing for certain though is that we cannot be relegated!
The fixtures for this week game is not out yet so stay tuned!

The one about jerseys
Alright peeps! Here are the Jersey's that is available for voting!
Adidas - $24 (only green others cannot make it)
Apach - $15 (only yellow!)
All Nike - $22 (i went to peninsula and they might have stock for the jersey!)
Label are:
Green Nike
Yellow Nike
Yellow-Blue Nike
Here we have 5 options for you to choose from. All prices includes only the top with numbers! No name and no shorts! If you want you can request to me and i will see what i can do. To add name is additional $2 more (but so far no one has name before) and to add shorts is around $15 for nike adidas and $8 if the jersey is apach.
So take a look and decide what jersey you like and sms me in a ranking order of 1st and 2nd. Which means only 2 choice can be made by each Goatee. The sms should reach me by tuesday if not you'll hear your phone ring like there is no tomorrow! (Example of a sms: 1st Yellow Nike 2nd Adidas)
Once confirm i would need to confirm with the shop if they have stock, which will take 2 days, and if they dont have i would see if they have stock for the secondary choice. Than it will take approximately 2 weeks to be made. So please help me by replying to me fast! All Jersey after voting will be rank according! I'm quite confident that either the primary or secondary jersey chosen will have stock.
You guys should have my no. if not pm me on facebook or msn!

Kiong's brace sends Team Goat top of the table
Team Goat 2 VNPNUS 1
Kiong X 2
Today's victory against VNPNUS was indeed hard-earned. Both side played considerably well today and majority of the battle was around the circle in the middle. Like what we have predicted, VNPNUS is indeed a very physical team and we certainly came well prepared with a total of 22 players. (easily able to field 2 teams LOL)
Many quick counter-attacks was produced by our team which we could have scored more. VNPNUS also have many decent attacks with 2 hitting the woodwork. But eventually it was the moment of brilliance by WeeKiong to let Team Goat maintain the unbeaten run of 8 games and created a new winning streak of 3 games.
To the game...
Team Goat started off brightly this time round compared to the other games that we have played. The flanks ran their lungs out today with many ball going down the wing. But the 1st chance came to Team Goat's Goalkeeper, (sadly, its me) who ramped a drop kick all the way towards opp's goal. The ball bounced off the turf and was coming back down towards goal, but unfortunately it hit the top of the woodwork with the opp goalkeeper's feet firmly on the ground. Vnpnus also created a few half chances esp the one where one of our guys (u know who HAHAHAHA!) mis-kick the ball to the opp. Otherwise nothing much happened in the 1st half.
2nd half however started off with a bang. 5-10mins after the game restarted, Derek was able to put in a nice low through pass for WeeKiong to chase in the penalty box. Determined to get to the ball 1st, WeeKiong nudged his way through the man marking him and got to the ball. With many players shouting for him to cross, he decided to put in a low shot and straight through the goalkeeper's legs. 1-0!
Team Goat started to defend and held a good solid back line to deter all threats. But soon Vnpnus still manage to sneak in with a goal. Their left-winger manage to control the ball on the left wing and put in a beautiful cross in-between the Centre-backs and goalkeeper. Their no.10 came in with a diving header. Dived too early, Jeff was unable to stop it slipping through his hands. 1-1
As the times keep ticking away and a draw seems to be on the card. Kiong stepped up to the plate to deliver a massive blow for Vnpnus. Controlling the ball just inside the penalty box, Kiong did a standing over-head kick towards goal. With the goalkeeper in no man lands, WeeKiong scores! 2-1
With 10mins left into the game, Vnpnus started to put pressure on Team Goat's goal and they almost made it with a curling shot that hit the right woodwork. I would said that this was a tough game and it was awesome to see each and everyone of us battling for the team! Great Job guys!
Man of the Match - WeeKiong
Without a doubt, Weekiong was the rightful owner of this week's Man of the Match. He was doing his job well today holding the ball, cutting their left right backs and also scoring the 2 crucial goals that have proved vital for the team. With him only 18 years of age, he will still have time to develop into a better player and certainly do well for the team in the future! Continue your form and you'll see your name here again!
Special mention for Thaddeus as well. He is really the unsung hero for the team. Esp today where his performance in the middle in the park. No matter is it defending or attacking he is well-integrated to the team and knows what to do! Definitely a crucial player for the team. Well done Thad!
Post-Season
Alright, I do not know whether should I be writing this on a new post or what but whatever it is, I've decided to write just below the latest entry.
So, with the season coming to an end the Committee and I have decided to create some after party for us to do and enjoy! With our squad numbers proudly standing at 24 (not including Amran) we will be playing our 1st ever Intra-game. This game is for all of us to enjoy and it will happen the following week right after our season concludes (hopefully at 19th of March! Try to keep urself free that week! IMPT!!!!). Besides the 24 players, I would also invite some players that have played for us and some new trial players. So I would expect everyone to make it, because personally this is going to be real fun playing with each other! The grouping of each team will be done up soon and i will post them on the blog or otherwise so just stay tuned for that.
Next, I will be talking about the making of the new jerseys. As you guys should know (with some who have left the field early) we committee have already been to Queensway to take a look at some jerseys. This are the few that we have seen... i would personally go to Penisula tmr to see if there is more to be added.
Adidas - $25
Nike - $24
The yellow do not have enough size
Lotto - $19
Apach - $15 (not really sure with the name)
FBT - $16
As you can see we are choosing colours that we do not have from the past 4 years of Goat. And a colour difference from red is important as we do not want any clash from any team in the next season. Also, i would expect everyone to keep the no. they are holding onto unless you have a problem with the current number and die die want to change it! (If you do drop me a sms) For Renjie and Sean choose a no. and let me know. What no.s are available? you can check it out on the right side of the blog. Otherwise this is what we have so far so take a look. I would be posting another entry tmr about the jersey after i have been to penisula, than we will start the voting for the jersey.
Next the after party after the season ended have not been planned yet (bbq, kbox or chalet). After another meeting with the comms and Laphang (maybe he should be in-charge of welfare!! HAHA) i would let you guys know again. Lastly, the 3 awards that will be given this year after the season will be...
1. Player of the Season
2. Most improved Player of the Season
3. Youth Player of the Season (U-21)
This is what we will be giving out at the end. Voting and nominations will start once the season is concluded. So just do well for the upcoming games and maybe you could be in for a chance!
But meanwhile, keep your party hats away as we still have 2 games coming fast and furious! Namely Star CF and Thunderveluboomqiesi! We would really need to win the last 2 to keep any titles hopes alive! So Lets continue this amazing run of ours!

Similar to today's weather, a high chance of thunderstorm in the late afternoon about 4+. Strangly, the recent trend is that the eastern side of Singapore is much less affected. Hope this combination will occur to create a cool afternoon for us to strive for our title!

The fight for Championship
Opp: VNPNUS
Attire: Red
K.O: 3pm
Venue: Bedok Green Secondary School
(I think u all should know where it is!)
This sat we will be playing our last 3 games of the Season in D2D. Have we done well? I would know really say so being last season we have only lost 4 and drawn 2 in 16 games. However we have already accumulated 2 draws and 3 losses in 11 games this season. Although we are in red hot form now (this i would like to applaud you guys for the constant efforts u guys put in to achieve!!), we could only blamed what we have not been able to achieve at the start of the season. Despite having this long unbeaten run, we are still hanging in a balance as to whether we could win something this season. Or let me put it this way, if we could win the remaining last 3 games we should be able to achieve something and i would guess a 2nd spot would not be too hard?
This Saturday we will be facing a rather physical opp, VNPNUS. Although the previous encounter against them we come off winners to a 3 nothing scoreline, I would not for a second think that they are a lamb waiting to be slaughter. They have been in this league for at least 3 seasons now and previously they have come off runners-up in division one. It is no easy feat! They are also to be known to be physical in their games thus we would need to be able to match them as well.
Remember I've told you guys before that everyone have a different role to play? Now its the time we might need to shuffle the team to cater for the different needs! The previous 2 games was all about pace and movement (machiam Arsenal & Barcelona) but now we will be playing a side more on physical strength and positioning (machiam Chelsea & Bolton). We would have to send in the big guns this time round so as to be able to contest for balls all around the park. (but small guns need not worry, if the situation call for you would go straight into the action!)
So meanwhile enjoy your weekdays! (i'm trying)

Team Goat in sizzling hot form by D2D
A well written summary of what happened on Saturday by D2D. Guess they do drop by our blogs when they have the time. We do appreciate it! and here it is...
D2D Sat 3pm League Weekly Round-Up
OPOD News Center – Former Division 2 champions Team Goat is in sizzling hot form having captured their sixth victory by edging past Swee Swee 1 FC 4-2 in Division 1. Jin Cheun opened the scoring for the former in the first half with a looping header over Swee Swee 1’s goalkeeper. Subsequently, striker Jackson added the second goal courtesy of a swift counter attack when he outmuscled the opposition’s defender to slot the ball past a hapless goalkeeper.
Nevertheless, this early setback brought Swee Swee 1 FC back into the game as they replied with a goal to set the scoreline at 2-1. Team Goat breathed a sigh of relief when Benny converted the third goal. Sloppy defending by Swee Swee 1 allowed Yiwen to centre the ball for an unmarked Benny to unleash a shot into the back of the net.
Yiwen assured three points for Team Goat with his first goal to give them an unassailable 4-1 lead. Swee Swee 1 found the back of the net with their second goal to make the scoreline respectable. In the process, Team Goat has extended their unbeaten streak to seven games as they are staking their claim as genuine title challengers. With 3 games remaining, Tour D’ France is holding a slender lead of a single point on the top following their 3-2 win against Star CF.

and Jackson still scores!!
Team Goat 4 Swee Swee 1 FC 2
(JinChuen, Jackson, Benny, KahWoon)
Yesterday's game for me has been labelled a 'die die must win game'. Why? Reason being that some of the words the opp said when we met them during the 1st game really fired me up. Eg, 'this is a champion team?' To me, you can discriminate me but not the team. You don't know who we are and what kind of result we can produce!
Yes we don't have a very serious warm up session to warm our guys up before the game but everyone enjoys the kick around before the game which will lighten the mood up. Yes we may not have the 'connection' (we may not have it yet! but it will come!) that will make the passes flow. But hey! Can you stop us from attacking and scoring? Can any team in the league bring a constant 20 individuals dedicated to the game every Saturday? I'm proud to say Team Goat can!
In the end, why are we in a league? Definitely it is this kind of period that we enjoy the most! 7 games unbeaten is a long run for us and definitely the feeling is good! (so so good) But let us remind ourself (thanks kahWoon for reminding) we should not get complacent over what we had today. Remember a few months ago when we could even win our first 4 games? And a few weeks ago when we couldn't overcome the resilient Star CF? So lets not get complacent and always get the job done. Yesterday i saw some stuff that actually quite disturbed me, when we were leading 4-1 our players starts to get complacent and do stupid things on the field! Please, we have not won the game, just keep playing like we do and don't do cheeky stuffs! Newcastle can also fight back to 4-4 against Arsenal!!! (good moments!)
Now, to the game!
The game started off with the opp lacking of players once again. Eventually they played with 10 before anything started to happen. Although having the numbers on our side, we still share equal possession with the ever strong Swee Swee 1 FC. Quite a few chances were given to them but they never really quite get anything out of it and the 1st goal for Team Goat soon came. A counter-attack from Manfred brought the ball up the left flank and with Jackson in the middle calling for the ball. A cross was placed into the box but was 'deflected off an opp' (if u think that's true), Corner! The new outfield player!!! YES THAT'S ME! ran over to take his 2nd corner of the game. The corner ALMOST flew past everyone but JinChuen manage to 'rise' to the occasion by heading the ball over the Goalkeeper! 1-0
5-10mins later into the game another goal came for Team Goat and it is non other than our Goal Poacher Jackson. A clearance from his own half, KahWoon manage to ram the ball up the field into no man lands which is just between the goalkeeper and the Centre-back. Jackson quickly uses his god-like speed to hunt the ball down. Although the Centre-back manage to get in-front of the ball and tries to shields it, Jackson was still too quick and manoeuvres pass him to tap the ball into the net before the goalkeeper could do anything about it. 2-0
Another 5-10mins later, I would believe their motm score a excellent goal that I should give credit to. The 'Chelsea' guy (because he was wearing a Chelsea jersey) dribbled the ball with flair cutting through our midfield and defence before finally pulling the trigger. The Goal of the game I would say. But i feel we could have done more about it? Sometimes if this happens we might just take a yellow card and let them have a free-kick. 2-1 And half time approached us.
With the slender lead, Team Goat's idea was to contain the midfield and not to let them play. But soon the plan fell apart but in a Good Way! Not only we were able to contain the midfield we were also able to break forward! with 15mins into the game 2 goals came and all thanks to our last season's player of the season!
-With Jackson holding the ball in the centre-mid area he manage to find Yiwen who is bombing down the right wing. A through ball of class was put in between their defences to find Yiwen. Doing what he does best, Yiwen went straight to the by-line and cuts in towards the goal. With all their defences trying to cut him out, Benny manage to find himself wide open in the box (literally no goalkeeper and no defences), yiwen slides the ball in for Benny for an easy tap in! 3-1!
-Assist turn Scorer Yiwen managed to drive the ball down the right flank himself with great pace. Doing what he does best again he went to the by-line again (so opp look out for that! but that's if you can stop him!) Trying to find a cross in, no one was available but soon a tackle flew in and he was down on the ground. Thinking that it was a penalty, Yiwen just sat on the grass with the ball in-between his legs. With the whistle not being blown, the game carries on and Yiwen was the first to react. Twisting and turning while he was on the ground, he manage to clip the ball up in the air and he too quickly stands up and put a shot over the goalkeeper! 4-1 A first goal with no assist!
Than the complacent part comes along. Players starts to move around slowly and not doing their part. Cheeky moves were made, some even trying doing tricks on the opp. And rightly when we always starts to get complacent we were being punished. A 'Back pass' (you have to see it to determine if it is really a back pass) was made and JunGuang hold the ball. The opp soon get the ball from our hands and took a quick in-direct free-kick. 4-2
After that it was just the same old GOAT back and everyone was no longer complacent and tried to push on for the 5th goal. Jackson had a few chances and so does the rest but it came to no avail. But nonetheless yesterday's performance was an all round performance by the team where everyone was doing their part. (most of the time)
Man of the Match - Ng KahWoon (14)
Today's decision for Man of the Match was tight and voting was carried out between the committee for the award. A slender lead of 1 vote let KahWoon to the honour. He has evolved much into the game being able to read the game and doing his duty well. Remembering back in the past when he was always lost in the team but now steady manage to find his foothold in the team and doing a good job with it. A true fighter he called himself, Fighting for the team in every aspect and he have done a marvellous job in man-marking the Chelsea guy. With new instruction passed to him on 2nd half (which is to man-mark him), the Chelsea guy have seen less of the ball and could not do what he does best. And to wrap it all off, he still have an assist under his name now making him the top assist in the team! Congrats to him and he may also be the winner of the Most improved player of the season and who knows even challenge Jackson for the Player of the Season award?

Dawn of a new era
Obviously my extended absence from the blog has paid dividends as I have seen our up-and-coming next generation author putting in their articles! Salute to Boon-Wee-You-Weet and Neighbour fighter! Please continue to keep this blog entertaining (and the stupid A.I. to spam our chatbox)! To be honest, my M.I.A. from the blog was partly due to recent workload but this is no excuse for not blogging so please accept my sincere apology (especially for missing the crowd-favourite weather forecast! It is such a crime to disappoint so many of you!).
Right, as mentioned in the subject title, I feel that we have just seen the start of a new era for Team G.O.A.T. and it is definitely for the better! Echoing what kahwoon has said, we are now a proper team that is capable to shuffle our players with everyone slotting well into the overall game plan. We have matured to a stage where we know each and everyone of our players' strength and compliment each other on the pitch. There is now no particularly indispensable players and we still win with constant squad rotation!
Seeing what happened on the field with the fluent passing and awareness of teammates position and running were equally impressive today with us taking at least the first step of progress was what KengYang challenged us to achieve. There is not a single linger of doubt in me that we will not achieve that in the foreseeable future. More importantly, it was what happened off-field which heartened me deeply. Today was a match with 2 highly contrasting teams; not only style of play, but more crucially the team spirit within each. While they only had 10 in total, we had 16, despite not playing Khalid and Jack were there to support us. This is what I call a team and we are willing to do that for each other as we know that this is an important game that potentially needed "manpower" (btw, I was so proud we won them square-and-fair). On the pitch, our team spirit and hunger was so evident that compare to their team and the difference is that their superior technique were no comparison. At the end of the day, we were up for it and they were not, there was no doubt the eventual winner were us.
With this, I dedicate my respect and applause to today's team. Those who missed out, no worries, another tough match is expected coming Saturday; so prove your worth to the team!
-GuardioLap
P.S. Special mention to Ren Jun and Jun Guang. You guys are an integra part of the new era! (Jeff - get them to subscribe to our blog if they have yet to do so!)

CONNECT!
Firstly I want to congratulate everyone for bagging this fine victory in this crucial period. I mean, today's opponent are seriously damn strong, despite their lack in numbers. For today, I personally feel that we are almost reaching this "next level" that we always have aspired. The "connection" among team mates, be it on-field and off-field. The passing and runs made, even under pressure. Even though it's not perfectly done, at least the idea is there. Do it a few more times and everything will turn out to be good! During the game, many "shout-outs" are also being made, i think trust is beginning to build among us. Team Goat's power balance are starting to shift! (From the few players we used to depend heavily on to bringing the WHOLE TEAM into the play!) I mean we still depend on the few players la, but at least more variations can be seen.
And one most important thing! Encouragement! No matter how good a player, he will definitely have his "off-days". At times like this, we shouldn't be grumbling, instead, it's duty of us team mates to pull him through this! And today, even the amount of encouragements can still be improved, but I don't hear or see any grumbling from fellow team mates when one of us screwed up. (Particularly when I lose the ball in the midfield on various occasions :x Sorry guys! Will try to work on my stability issue.) Even though at the end of the day, it's still the skills and mentality that counts, encouragements also plays a very big part, particularly on the confidence issue. It won't take too much of your effort to say a little "Nice try", "Well Done", "Never mind try again", but it will have an incredible effect on the affected team mate!
To me, doing my part to help the team win is important, but on a personal basis, I hope to win or lose together as a team. No doubt we join this league to WIN, but I also strongly believed that we joined and stayed cos there's something in the team worth staying for.
Cheers,
Your neighbourhood fighter. -14

Fox in the Box
Recent games has come to show one thing about our team - we lack a fox in a box. To complicate matters, we play with a striker and two wingers (who almost rarely shoot).
Since every coin has two sides, let's look at the perks of not having a sufficiently tenacious character in the team. #1, We never really depend on a single person to bring in the goals, and I really mean we don't when I see the size of our substitute bench exceeds the queue outside KOI bubble tea at its peak. #2, The role of a striker has dramatically evolved over the history of soccer, and the most primary purpose of a good striker is to be man-marked (, even better if men-marked). Strategically located at the final third of the pitch, you probably wouldn't have more than 5minutes of the ball, but for the 90minutes you've got to be running. #3, Well, who needs a fox, we can always recruit one from the zoo.
In recent games, we have seen Jackson contribute a large portion of the goals, shifting to a striker position. Did he really have more chances? I would really doubt that, but he nails almost every good half-chances that comes along. This has probably brought many of the outright strikers to shame. Just to name one, Booney (HAHA).
With just a few more games to the end of the season, hopefully we get our act together and make every good chances count into the goal tally. We really shouldn't be resting on our laurels and praying that the others drop points.

Fight Club!
Opp: Swee Swee 1 FC
Attire: Red (seems like we dont need to wear the blue top anymore)
K.O: 3pm
Venue: XinMin Secondary
(http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_id_9960/travel_site_89000/)
The previous game against Swee Swee 1 FC was a game that i could never forget. It created many 'for the 1st time' moments for the team. For example, for the 1st time we would have to wait 45mins before we can kick-off a game, for the 1st time we got a red card in a game and also for the 1st time we play against a 9-man team which eventually ended with 8.
Although we have won them the 1st time round, i would never think lightly of our worthy opp. I believe they should be a huge favorite in winning the league but results have proven otherwise. They have not been bagging the all the 3 points that was needed for them to challenge for honours. Commitment issues from their players? Whatever the case is, when they have a full team playing i bet that they will be a team to be reckon with.
Meanwhile looking at the table, (http://d2dsports.footballopod.com/D2D_LeagueTable.aspx?id=60&leagueid=43&divid=75), the league is still as tight as ever and anyone there has a chance to win it. If the leaders (including us) starts to drop points, we will be easily overtaken. Thus, there is a need to stay focus and play the best that we can to keep our unbeaten streak alive, even better start another winning streak?
Just to add-on, i believe players now will feel that they are not having enough game-time while others are having more than the usual. I still hope to seek your understanding into this as we are now in the crucial period of the league and the best players we have or the on-form players we have, have to be on the field fighting for the team. Do not feel that you're not important to the team because you are in every way! When your forms come, we wont even want to sub you out! Just ask KahWoon!
After the season, we will try to finish it asap and will not wait for other teams that is catching up their games, we will have many friendly games to come and there will be game-time for each and everyone of you!
Hope you guys understand! and anyway see you guys at the court tonight!

Maintaining the Unbeaten Run
Team Goat 2 Zespol FC 1
After a long 2 weeks break we are back in action to face Zespol FC in a crucial title game. Both sided fielded a very strong 1st team and counter measures were prepared by our Team Manager, Yiwen. From past experiences we know that their no.9 and no.10 were their key players in the game. Thus, we used 2 of our superb player to man-mark them. And it came off effective as they have seen less of the ball and could not make the run/passes that will change the game! Kudos to KahWoon and JinChuen!
Too add-on Jackson scoring sheet is still intact after he netted in the 1st goal of the day during the 1st half. 2 new players also have been introduced to the team, JunGuang and Renjie both a goalkeeper and a centre back respectively. This 2 young additional would be crucial for us during the end of season as they give us an added dimension to our game.
Now to the game...
Zespol started off brightly in the game, with their wings bombing us down the wings, much chances were created but no goals were scored. Soon after 5-10mins Team Goat manage to find back their rhythm and started to play some football. Passes were back and chances were created. 25mins into the game we finally found the weakness of the opp, high ball to the backline, Ariel took a fantastic goalkick all the way behind opp's left back. With a touch, Kiong brought the ball forward into the 18 yard box. With Jackson free on the near post, Kiong put a low cross in and Jackson did it again, slotting in cooly to the opp right hand post. 1-0
Moving to the 2nd half, some changes were made to maintain the fitness level of the team. This time round however started off brightly for Team Goat and sure enough after 10mins into the game, KahWoon manage to tackle a ball away and brought it down the right wing. With a cross to outside the box, Manfred drives in to pick up the ball. With a touch to set the ball up, he blasted in a low ball straight to the bottom left corner of the goal. 2-0 a beautiful set up goal.
Soon after there was another chance for Manfred when the goalkeeper did not hold on to the ball tight but Manfred was not able to convert it in on a one on one chance. A miss that almost prove crucial as shortly after, Zespol was awarded a free-kick which their captain (no.10) converted into a goal. 2-1
Many chances started to fall for Zespol, Penalty was awarded to them in the last 10mins but luckily he blasted it off the post. Many free-kicks and corner soon followed but was well-managed by our new goalkeeper. Although letting in 1 goal, he was crucial as he saved a open header and a one on one chance.
Man of the Match: Ng KahWoon (14)
Today he was so awesome to an extend that when he wished to be substituted, he was not given a chance. He is like what he said he was, A DOG! He actually covered the whole ground today playing everywhere and doing everything he could to clear up the mess at midfield. He also proved to be a good man-marker as he totally followed no.10 throughout the game. His pace and tackles were also important when the opp is counter-attacking. You won't see him not defending when there is a need to. Kudos to him for the game and surely he would have cemented a spot in DM for himself! Not to mention the cross which he assisted Manfred in his goal.
Also, with this win we are firmly in the title race! There are 4 more games to go win all of them we could have a very decent chance to grab hold of the Championship again! So lets carry on this unbeaten run of 6 games!

Breaking News!
Finally after 4 years without a proper Goalkeeper, Team Goat has finally found her first goalkeeper! Jun Guang has finally agreed a 'deal' with the team. The ex-Tampines Rovers youth and ex-Springfield Secondary alumni will be showing his skills tmr at the pitch.
With a new goalkeeper in place, Jeff the old keeper breathes a sigh of relief that his heavy burden of keeping the goals out of the net has finally been taken over. Many will know who he is but for those who have not play with him, do be friendly as he is still a young boy at an age of 18.
To go with the news, Latest team information is that Thad, ZhuLiang and Norman will definitely be missing out in tmr's game. Kah Woon and Kenny is still unsure if they will make up the no. But one thing for certain Jeff is back on the pitch! WOOOOO!!!

Player of the Month: January
Player of the month: Jackson Goh (77)
(Player of the Season in the making?)
Our Captain was the rightful owner of the award this month with 4 goals in 3 games?. Majority of the goals he scored were crucial in order for us to be in the position which we are today (2 goals against AJPL and the winner against Swee Swee 1). After attaining his Captain's Armband at the start of the season he have shown maturity in his discipline when he has to come back to defend for the team. As were his skills when he cool-ly puts in the goals that were needed to win the games. Too add more joy to his season, he is the only member in the team who have 2 player of the match award under his belt and also the team's leading top goal scorer.
With his current form, opp will find it hard to stop him in the upcoming games. Today i got an opportunity to ask him before his training at SCDF, "so do you think u can continue your form this weekend?"
He humbly replied. " Haha hope lor. Long break then dont know can maintain anot."
Yes it has been a long break for the team and i hope everyone would be excited and pumped up for the upcoming weekend game. Lets get ready and make our final push!

We are back in action!
Opp: Zespol (i bet u can't forget the wacking we got from them right?)
K.O: 3pm
Attire: Red
Venue: Broadrick Secondary School

After a 2 weeks layoff we are finally back for more soccer! (i kinda miss you guys!) This coming weekend will see us played Zespol FC which we should have played before CNY but due to Weatherman's accurate prediction we didn't have the chance to play them. (FYI we still love the Weatherman!)
Well for this week game we will definitely have to step it up and banished the holiday mood to a distant land! Like what i have said before, right now every game is make or break for us. Lose one and we could say goodbye to top 2 or even a 3rd spot. Well we wouldn't want that right? So lets put our effort together and make a 1 last push towards the top of the table! JUST 5 GAMES LEFT!
Although the sms is not sent out yet but i already have 2 key players not in the team for this weekend, Norman and Zhuliang, this will make us short at the backline and midfield but definitely arrangement will be made to fill the gap. So with already 2 pulling out on this sat's game i hope everyone else could make it and together push forward with the team alright?
1 last thing to point out is that if you have the slightest doubt that you can't make it for the game please inform me or yiwen early. For example if you think you would have work commitment or last minute work that you haven finished at least make a call or sms by 1pm during game day. And if you're sick on thursday or friday and have the slightest chance that you can't make it on sat, also do let me and yiwen know that you are sick. At least we can find some cover alright? I'm not blaming anyone, i would just like to point out something that can make the team better.
(Same old saying) There is no I in Team. So guys lets stick together and the results will come! We win and Lose as a team!
