It has been confirmed with a reliable source that Team Goat has failed in the bid to land the highly-rated BMTC OC. It looks like the team is going to depend on their existing midfielders for the rest of the season. It seems like the ageing No.5 is going to be relied upon from now on. However, a recent interview with Team Goat's No.5 has revealed his high hope for the youngster in the team. "The likes of Derrick, Khalid and Amrann - if he focuses more on football than modelling or gals - are all technically gifted players. They just need a few pounds of flesh which is sure to come very quickly as they go through puberty. I have absolute confidence that they would play a huge part in the rest of the season." Said the No.5. "They should start going to the gym more often than facebooking in front of the computer!" He added.
On another news, the same source also informed KambengFlash that despite the setback in signing the BMTC OC, an unknown RSAF regular (AOSX, same vocation as Jeff) from Changi Airbase has been invited for a trial this saturday. Once again, the player is a relative unknown and initial assessment seems to indicate that he possess quick feet and a quick turn of pace. It is widely expected that he would start on the bench on saturday.
